1 Give yourself a thorough pedicure and clean all skin off the surface of the nail plate.
1.1 Thin the nail about half if the nail is thick with a nail file.
2 For two weeks use the Restore A Nail formerly Nail Mycosis to soften and moisturize the nail
3 When ready to apply the band clean the surface of the nail plate with nail polish remover, pure acetone is best to remove oils from the nail.
4 Apply a bead of acrylic at the base of the nail and shape into a band about 1/8’ in width. You don’t want to cover more than 1/4 of the nail at the base by the cuticle.
5 Applying acrylic further up the nail will hold any nail that is in a narrow position in position.
